Find Your Cruise
Brugge is a lovely place to visit, a lot of cobbles though and a touch of Venice.
In case you want this the website for the railway system
http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/index.php This is the English option. The train fare is 2.40 euros single.
Taxis are available costing €45 to the centre of Brugge, and it takes about 25 minutes, very convenient, but maybe OK if sharing but cheaper by train.
The distance from Zeebrugger to Brugge is around 8/10 miles.
Very easy! The cruise companies normally provide a shuttle bus to Blankenburge & drop you off at or near the railway station. The little train runs frequently to Bruges & a return ticket is only a few Euro's from memory. A great little place for a day visit.
Or there is the station at Zeebrugge -Dorp,a walk of 10 mins from the ship.
The station is opposite the water tower, small sign, train only runs from here to Brugge. Buy a return ticket of the train guard on board 5 euro return. Suggest you google for train times to see which station has a better service.
We've just got back from Zeebrugge. the return rail ticket for adult is 3.20 euros at w/e and children travel free.
Many thanks to you all for your help!
Book a taxi (firstname.lastname@example.org). They will be at the ship whenever you want and will bring you back at an agreed time. Cost is 90€ for the return journey. Usually easy to find another couple to share the ride, which makes it far cheaper than the coaches and more convenient - they take you right into the main square.
