Do not know about Royal Caribbean but travelled on Coral Princess in July and it was possible to pay US dollars for bills but payment was required at intervals throughout the cruise. You could not wait until the last day to settle the complete bill. The preferred method, however, is credit card. We could choose to have our credit card billed in dollars or we could authorise them to convert dollars to £ sterling for the billing.

All RCI ships are in US$ irrespective of where they sail.

Your final account will be in US$ and you can pay cash (Not a cheque) travellers cheques or credit card. They will, if you pay by credit card, convert your charge to UK£ using a very reasonable exchange rate but if you are British you normally have to tell them that you do not want them to convert it. Hope that helps Neil Dow.
