Hi. my girlfriend snd i went on the gem which is the sister ship of the jewel, the ship is very big and spacious and there is lots of things to do. the food is good but dont forget that 5 resturants you will have to pay for and the other five you dont, jost watch out which ones they are. the cabin we had was the same you going on, the cabin is really big and the bacony is a normaly size where you can fit a table and two chairs, the bathroom has a bath and shower. which is quit nice is that if someone wants to sleep while you are watching tv you can just pull the curtain and it seprates it from the bedroom. i hope all this help you have a good time.

Have a great time!!!
Hi, I took this cruise last year and we have a great time. The ship is clean, comfortable and you will certainly enjoy yourselves. I cannot remember which cabin we were allocated but it was an outside with balcony. The service and food were excellent as were the shows. My only advice would be to make reservations in the restaurants on your 1st evening for the length of your cruise. There were times when making reservations were impossible! Enjo.
Hello, we did the Panorama II on the Jewel last year. It was fantastic, the food is great and as for the choice of restaurants, well, be prepared to put on some weight or do as we did and use the stairs. You definately need to book the speciality restaurants or you may not get in. The best thing to do is book them on your first day, you can always cancel if you decide not to go ( just check how much notice you need to give in order not to be charged ). The food was so good that in the 2 weeks we were on board we only went to one of the restaurants that you have to pay for , we chose the French one it was great.
The Tango's Tapas restaurant and the Italian were free, we went to the Italian once and the Tapas twice, they had the best fajitas I have ever had. We didn't try the other speciality restaurants, but friends said they were very good. We found the drinks to be more expensive than other cruise lines but as we are not big drinkers this did not really affect us. The dollar rate is so good at the moment that you could buy some now ready for when you go, we always pay our bill in cash and have already got our dollars for next October when we are going back.
You will have a great time.
