We have been on the QE2 and it was a wonderful trip. The crew go out of their way to make sure you are happy and the food is gorgeous. However, the ship as I am sure you will know is very old and due to be taken out of service in a couple of years and I have to say the cabins do look their age. We had a C grade outside cabin which was very nice but dated and the couple who joined us were in a M grade inside cabin with bunk beds which was pretty awful to be honest, there was very little space in it and it resembled a cupboard!!. If you have a normal inside cabin with twin beds and not bunk beds that should be OK but if you have booked one with bunk beds I would seriously find a bit of extra money and upgrade. But I can tell you that you will have a great time on the QE2, so enjoy.

Hi, we went on QE2 dec 05, our cabin was on deck 4, M1 grade, room 4215,it was rough weather anyway, but the room was very noisey and very small, being 13 weeks pregnant didnt help! we had twin beds and could just squeeze the cot in for our 2 year old, but the room was cramped compared to our other cruises on p&o and ocean village, hope you enjoy your cruis.
