Easter is too early for the best family cruise ship - Independence of the Seas to be back in Southampton.

The best family ship by a mile is the Independence of the seas - which arrives back in Southampton in late April (25th I think) for a two week med cruise. There is also a short cruise on May 23rd which is a bank hol' .

We travelled on Aurora this Easter with our two girls, aged 9 & 10, and had a great time. The weather was fantastic; I would guess the Canaries are probably the best place for a no-fly cruise at Easter as many of the ships wil still be in the Caribbean. We enjoyed our cruise so much that we have booked to go to the Canaries (Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Madeira & Vigo)again on Oriana this Easter (8th-18th April). If your school holidays are the same as ours, these dates fit in perfectly!
