I think any compensation for getting a virus is just a good will gesture from the cruise line.The virus doesn't belong just to ships it's the same virus as the winter vomiting bug that hits the hospitals your husband could have caught this virus before boarding the ship.A fact the cruise line will be sure to point out.

I agree with "Flossy" I think you were quite lucky to have received compensation particularly when the likelihood is that you brought it onboard with you, the onset seems to be very quick for Noro Virus to have developed in 6 hours or so ......Nei.
