It depends on whether your husband has any mobility as bathrooms in ordinary cabins are a non starter and the few wheelchair friendly cabins get snapped up quickly. however having said all that the staff on qe2 were first class and soon provided the raised toilet seat etc. and at ports, were more than happy to assist down the ramps. i think you will find the 'can do' attitude is good and they try hardest to make up for anomalies by staff having caring attitudes. a. wright, mansfiel.
Most cruise companies cater for wheelchair users but P&O and Royal Caribbean are very good.
The following also cater for the disabled: NCL, Holland America, Princess, Celebrity, Carnival, Regent & Disney. As an added bonus, Disney offers special wheelchairs designed to make navigating sandy beaches a lot easier.
Thomsons Celebration and Spirit have 4 cabins specifically for disabled access, with the most wonderful of views.
